Welcome to SewPo: Your Friendly Neighborhood Fabric Store!  We are Kate, Matt, Janett, Lily & Luke. Our kids are Eli, Gideon and Lukas and we also can't forget our furry friends Bodhi, Ginger and Boy-Boy.  We are one big happy fabric-loving family and we want to share our passion with you!
 
 
What started as an innocent trip to our favorite comic shop (Hi, Bridge City Comics!) turned into a super-awesome idea of bringing a fabric boutique to Portland's thriving Mississippi Arts district. Now, don't get me wrong- I love comics as much as the next girl (maybe even more), but there's only so long I can listen to REAL comic fans discuss current events before I am out of my realm.  Matt was having one of those intense comic discussions when I realized it would be great if there was a fabric shop nearby. Matt could keep talking about comics, I could be down the street drooling over fabric.  Win-Win, right?  Except there wasn't any fabric store  (Cue cartoon-style light bulb going on over my head...).  So, that's the story of SewPo. We hope to bring you years of beautiful fabrics, fun classes and general crafty goodness.
